Sorry for late reply. Erm, not sure bout iOS 5.0.1 as apple may have changed the names for the files for the carrier icons.
Anyways, try googling iOS 5.0.1 carrier change. There should be a ton of guides on changing the carrier

Of try macthemes.net/forum ... Go for the iOS discussion. There's a post about changed locations

Hope this helps. Sorry for not providing an actual guide as I myself is still figuring it out at the moment >.<
